The Buddha Tooth Relic Temple was built in 2007 at a cost of S$75 million. The ground floor area is packed with Buddhist imagery, all of very fine quality. When we visited, a service was ongoing but we were still able to walk around and soak in the atmosphere of chanting. I could not see the stairs to the upper floors, so I think that if I were to visit again, I would book online for one of their guided tours. There is a Buddhist Cultural Museum on the 3rd floor and the Buddha Tooth Relic itself is housed on the 4th floor to be viewed at from some distance as I understand.
