Gua Kelam caves These are at the far north of Perlis, but sadly the intense rains preventing our visiting these caves. This northern end of Perlis, next to the border with Thailand, is beautiful countryside and ideal for hikers, raock climbers, etc.

Kota Kayang The museum at Kota Kayang is a well thought out collection, with plenty of informative panels to read. There is a fish pond at the back and a royal mausoleum at the side, all nestled beneath green-covered hills.

Kuala Perlis Most visitors come here to catch the ferry to Langkawi. The Masjid Al Hussein Kuala Perlis is a 'floating mosque’ and is worth visiting if you are there at nighttime when it is lit up.

Wang Kelian Peak Viewpoint This look out point presents a stunning view north towards Thailand, and well worth stopping here after visiting the Gua Kelam caves.
